All of our instructors hold or are currently pursuing Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degrees — the highest level of academic achievement in music, equivalent to a PhD. This makes them uniquely qualified to teach students at any level. Their advanced training provides them with effective teaching strategies and deep musical insight.

Additionally, every instructor has passed a thorough background check, ensuring a safe and trustworthy learning environment for you or your child

Yes — we offer online lessons through InplayStream, our in-house lesson platform used at Inplay School of Music.

Creating an InplayStream account is a required part of the enrollment process. Your student’s account becomes the home base for everything related to lessons: progress tracking, achievements, lesson notes, shared files, recordings, and annotated scores/markup materials — all stored in one secure place so nothing gets lost and learning stays organized.

After you enroll, we’ll help you set up the account and send you a private lesson link. You can join from a laptop or tablet, and we’ll guide you on the best setup (camera angle, sound, and optional equipment) so online lessons feel as close to in-person as possible.

Yes, regular practice is essential. We’re happy to help you choose a suitable instrument based on your budget and goals — whether that’s a digital keyboard for beginners or an acoustic piano

Our teachers provide regular feedback and track progress through personalized lesson plans. We also offer periodic evaluations and optional performance goals to help students stay motivated

Yes! Parents are welcome to sit in, especially during the first few lessons. Some children do better with a parent nearby, while others focus more independently — we’ll work with you to find the best balance
