Aleksei Vyzhanov
Founder & CEO
Aleksei’s story began with an orchestral debut as a piano soloist in his hometown at eight years old. Since then, he has performed across Russia as well as France, Germany, Austria, Spain and the United States.
Holding a Master’s Degree from Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory under professor Vladimir Ovchinnikov and an Artist Diploma program at Texas Christian University under Dr. Tamás Ungár, he is now pursuing an Doctor of Musical Arts Degree program at University of North Texas under Dr. Pamela Mia Paul.
As a concert musician, he has performed at the Saint Petersburg House of Music as part of a prestigious concert series offered for audiences all over Russia. He worked with the Texas Christian University Opera Studio on the inaugural production of the opera “Yeltsin in Texas” and with Texas Christian University Symphony Orchestra as a collaborative pianist.
His achievements include awards from numerous international competitions and festivals such as the Skryabin Open Festival and Competition; Igumnova International Festival and Competition of Young Pianists; Concert with Orchestra Open Competition of Young Performers; Sforzando International Youth Classical Music Competition, International Keyboard Odyssiad and River of Talents Musical Project.
Aleksei has played solo in a concert series with a Nizhny Novgorod Symphony Orchestra, Voronezh State Symphony Orchestra, Tambov State Symphony Orchestra, and Lipetsk Symphony Orchestra.

Ulyana Volkova
Piano Teacher
Ms. Volkova was born in the republic of Buryatia. She started to learn the piano at 7 in a local music school, taking part in musical competitions and festivals. Also she played concerts as soloist and with orchestra.
In 2008 Ulyana entered in the Novosibirsk music school (college) where was improving her professional skills. She received a scholarship of a Novosibirsk major for 3 times, took part in different music event such as international competitions in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg. She was a participant in a cultural exchange between Russia and South Korea. From this time she began her teaching career.
In 2012 Ulyana entered in the Moscow Tchaikovsky conservatory. Also she started to work in music school named after E. Gilels and Moscow primary school 504. In 2016 Ulyana entered at Russian Academy of arts in vocal and acting classes as a concertmaster.
In 2019 Ulyana left every official job and began to work only as a piano teacher. Ms. Volkova was a singer of a jazz ensemble of the Moscow Conservatory. She is a participant of famous Russian show «Amazing people» in the federal TV channel, where she demonstrated her ability – absolute pitch and music memory.

Junyoung Hwang
Piano Teacher
Mr. Hwang is a distinguished pianist and educator known for his exceptional talent and dedication to music. He graduated with top honors from both Busan Arts Middle School and Sunwha Arts High School, where he demonstrated a deep commitment to music from an early age. As a teenager, JuneYoung won over 20 piano competitions and received multiple scholarships from national and musical institutions in recognition of his extraordinary ability.
He earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from the Korea National University of Arts, where he was also recognized for his potential as an educator. As part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Dream Project, he had the opportunity to travel to India and Laos, where he gave masterclasses, lessons, and concerts, contributing his musical talents to communities in need.
JuneYoung’s passion for performance and cultural exploration has taken him across the globe. He has given solo recitals and concerts not only in Korea and the United States but also in Russia and several other countries. To further his studies, he pursued an Artist Diploma at Texas Christian University under the guidance of Dr. Tamas Ungar, receiving a full scholarship. He is currently completing his master’s degree at the University of North Texas, studying under Dr. Pamela Mia Paul. JuneYoung is also set to begin his doctoral studies in Fall 2025.
Among his many accomplishments, JuneYoung won a prize at the Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition in Moscow, Russia, where he was also awarded a scholarship. He made a successful Russian debut with a solo recital at the Scriabin Museum and performed a concerto with the Bryansk Governor Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he was invited to the prestigious Piano Texas Academy and Festival, where he earned recognition from leading pianists in the field.
Beyond his musical achievements, JuneYoung is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring historic musical landmarks across Europe. This passion for cultural discovery deepens his appreciation for the rich musical traditions that continue to inspire and shape his artistry.

Anastasiia Igoshina
Piano Teacher
She is one of the youngest concert-level organists in the world, having started her career as a soloist at the young age of 13. She was a student in the Central Music School at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, studying the piano as her main instrument and the organ additionally. At the age of 15, she began her tenure as an undergraduate student first in the organ classes of her long-term tutor Prof. Alexey Parshin, then those of Prof. Lubov Schishkhanova, going on to graduate from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with an M.A. While still undergoing her education in Moscow, she commenced undergraduate studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz) in the organ class of Prof. Gunter Rost, completing her soloist bachelor degree in one year with the grade of “perfect score, unanimously”. After that she was nominated for a Begabtenstipendium der Stadt Graz. Currently, she continues to further her studies at the university.
Ms. Igoshina has been awarded with first prizes at both national and international piano and organ competitions.
She took part in masterclasses held by Karstein Askeland (Norway), Klemens Schnorr (Germany), Pieter Dirksen (Netherlands), Johann Trummer (Austria), Dalibor Miclavchich (Slovenia), Wolfgang Zerer (Germany), Gunther Rost (Austria), Olivier Latry (France), and so on.
Ms. Igoshina is a known participant of the International Charity “Moscow Meets Friends” Festival of Vladimir Spivakov, the “Deutch-Russische Freundschaft” festival in Germany, the “Paskefest in Bergen” festival, “Gulantingets Paskefestival”, ‘Bergen International Organ Festival’ and “Bergen orgelsommer” in Norway, “Orgelfrühling Steiermark” in Austria and others. She has also been awarded with a diploma of honour by the city council of Halle (Saale), Germany. She regularly takes part in concerts at the Moscow State Conservatory and cycles of charity concerts in Burdenko Central State Hospital and also regularly performs at recitals all over Russia and in Germany, Austria, Norway, Hungary, Armenia, Macedonia, Poland, Slovakia, Belgium, etc. Her recordings were used on Organroxx Radio (Belgium) and she has performed live on Radio Maria (Austria).

Alina Smirnova
Piano Teacher
Described as “thrilling” and “with great verve” in the German newspapers Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung and Wiesbadener Kurier, Russian pianist Alina Smirnova is rapidly establishing a reputation for herself as one of today’s most versatile young artists.
At the mere age of twelve, Smirnova made her solo recital debut in the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and a year later, her orchestral debut at the same hall, performing Shostakovich’s First Piano Concerto. Since then, she has become both a laureate of numerous national and international competitions and a recipient of awards from the Jacob Flier International Piano Competition, II Tallinn International Piano Competition, the Heinrich Neuhaus Competition, Muses of the World Competition, the Vladimir Spivakov Fund Scholarship, and the Prefect of the Moscow Central District, among others. Smirnova performs extensively both in Russia and abroad (including Germany, the USA, France, Japan, Estonia, and others) as a solo recitalist, chamber musician, and with an orchestra. Orchestras for these performances have included the Kremlin Orchestra, the Concert Symphony Orchestra of the Moscow Conservatory, the Kaluga Youth Symphony Orchestra, the “Musica Viva” Chamber Orchestra and the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Estonia.
Her immense repertoire and experience have also brought her in great demand as a chamber music partner in both the instrumental and vocal genres. Smirnova has performed and recorded in Moscow’s main concert halls not only the established staples of her repertoire, such as the complete Winterreise, both of Brahms’s cello sonatas, Rachmaninoff’s Moments Musicaux, Études-tableaux, and complete two-piano works, but also is passionate about the exploration of lesser-known and rarely-performed compositions. These include Schumann’s Kerner-Lieder (premiering in Russia with Ms. Smirnova’s performance), along with Smirnova’s own transcription of Bach’s C minor Passacaglia and Fugue, and her own arrangement of Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring for two pianos and percussion. Smirnova’s playing has been broadcast on both Russian and Estonian radio (including Radio Orpheus, Radio of Russia, Estonian National Radio). Alina’s solo and chamber recital activities have brought her to some of world’s most renowned concert stages, such as the Bolshoi Theatre, the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre, the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, École Normale de Musique de Paris, and Schloss Johannisberg in Germany.
A native Muscovite, Alina completed both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the Moscow Conservatory with honours. She is currently active within the staff of the Moscow Conservatory as a collaborative pianist and teacher.

Jonathan Duarte
Piano Teacher
Mr. Jonathan was born into a Canadian family in Costa Rica. After completing the Suzuki piano program at the age of 13, Jonathan was accepted into the ISA (Superior Institute of Arts) in Costa Rica, where he studied with its founder, Dr. Alexandr Sklioutovski, a graduate of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, Russia.
At the age of 17, he applied and was accepted into the Central Music School of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory. After graduating from this program in 2011, he entered the piano performance and accompaniment program at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, under the tutelage of People’s Artist of Russia, Arkadi Sevidov.
After completion, he was then accepted into the highest level of piano performance studies, under the wing of world-renowned pianist Eliso Virsaladze. He completed his education with honours in July of 2020. In addition to formal education, he has studied with Dr. Thomas Lymenstull at the Interlochen Arts Camp, as well as comprehensively studying under Aster Lai in Toronto, Canada, where he currently resides.
Jonathan has won prizes in seven international piano competitions including: Stanislaw Moniuszko International Competition of Slav Music – Vilnius, Lithuania – 2010 Roma 2011 International Piano Competition, Category A – Rome, Italy – 2011 Intermediate Concerto Competition – Michigan, USA – 2009 American Protege Competition of Romantic Music – New York USA – 2010. Performances include Russia, the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Morocco, and France. Graduating from the Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a minor in basso continuo, he was a part of Globus Music, an ensemble of musicians dedicated to the interpretation of baroque music.

Anna Astashkina
Piano Teacher
Growing up in a family of musicians, Anna Astashkina began taking piano lessons at the age of six. Anna studied music for four years at the Academic Music College under the Moscow State Conservatory. She is currently a student at the Moscow State Conservatory in the class of professor Strukov.
During her college years, Anna won numerous awards including Laureate of the IX International Competition of Musicians «Romanticism: Origins and Horizons» (2017) , Laureate of the 1st degree of the competition musicians-performers «Schubertiade» (2017, Moscow), Laureate of the IV Moscow Open Children and Youth Festival «In the world of Shchedrin music. Golden Music Pages XX century» (2017, Moscow). In 2019 Anna won three competitions and was named Laureate of the sixth open festival of young musicians “Days of Sergei Rachmaninoff”.
As a pianist, Ms. Astashkina enjoys performing as a soloist and collaborating with other musicians as an accompanist.
Anna has two years of teaching practice and worked on a methodical paper on the pedagogical principles of the famous Russian teacher Timakin. Anna believes that every student is unique and finds an individual approach to every class. Through her teaching, she aspires to inspire her students and share the love of music and knowledge with them.

Darina Gilmkhanova
Piano Teacher
Ms. Gilmkhanova, a native of Kazan, started playing the piano and even composing her own music at just 4 years old. She graduated from a special music school with an honours degree. During her studies, she won numerous compositional and improvisational competitions.
After moving to Moscow, she studied for one year at the Gnesins Russian Academy of Music (class of Professor Yuri Bogdanov), and in 2019 she graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (under Professor Alexei Nasedkin, with Associate Professor Denis Chefanov).
Darina is a laureate of the International Competition “Fermata” (for Chamber Ensemble and Piano solo), the 1st Alfred Schnittke International Performing Music Competition (Chamber Ensemble), 17th International Maria Yudina Competition, the International art competition “Art session”, the 5th International Alexey Nasedkin Competition and so on and so forth. Darina took part in the masterclasses: “Accademia di Musica”, Pinerolo, Italy (Roberto Plano), “River of Talents”, St. Petersburg, Russia (Vladimir Mishchuk), the 3rd International Academy of Music, Sochi (Dmitry Bashkirov), and the Academy of Music, Moscow (Rafael Salinas). Furthermore, she soloed with the Yaroslavl Philharmonic Orchestra and took part in the “Singing Russia” Easter Festival of Valery Gergiev.
Currently she is studying at the Bern University of Applied Sciences (Professor Herbut Tomasz’s class) in the MA Music Performance Classic degree program. She has been working with students for 7 years. Ms. Gilmkhanova is convinced that the primary function of a teacher is to fuel a student’s interest in music, and it’s very important to make lessons fascinating rather than boring. Regardless of whether a student is already committed to music, or he just wants to know something new, a teacher should be able to see their student’s strengths and develop said student’s potential.

Milos Socanin
Guitar Teacher
Miloš Socanin is a classically trained guitarist with a rich musical heritage. Born and raised in Serbia, he began his guitar journey at the age of 8 and quickly demonstrated exceptional talent. At 16, he was accepted into the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where he earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in classical guitar performance under the guidance of renowned professors.
Subsequently, Miloš earned his second master’s degree in classical guitar performance at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in guitar performance at the University of North Texas under the mentorship of Dr. Bokyung Byun.
Throughout his career, Miloš has performed at numerous guitar recitals across Europe and the United States, showcasing his technical mastery and artistic expression. Subsequently, Miloš earned his second master’s degree in classical guitar performance at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in guitar performance at the University of North Texas under the mentorship of Dr. Bokyung Byun.
Throughout his career, Miloš has performed at numerous guitar recitals across Europe and the United States, showcasing his technical mastery and artistic expression. Wenwen Qu
Piano Teacher
Ms. Qu, originally from Shenyang, China, is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in piano performance at the University of North Texas under the guidance of Dr. Pamela Mia Paul. In 2023, Miss Qu has been awarded a special scholarship to be part of a trio funded by the Verdehr Trio Foundation.
With a strong focus on nurturing children’s piano education, Qu firmly believes in the importance of piano pedagogy, especially for beginners. She is dedicated to establishing a solid foundation in piano fundamentals to support students in their future learning endeavors. In her teaching approach, Qu emphasizes not only piano skills and techniques but also instilling an appreciation for the artistic aspects of music. She aims to guide students in discovering the beauty and allure of their musical journey as they progress through different levels.

Mark Sierra
Guitar Teacher
Mark began his musical journey at 10 years old, singing in school choirs. Quickly finding a love for music, he began learning various instruments before eventually becoming a guitarist. He is a recent graduate of the University of North Texas, where his studies touched on a wide array of musical topics, including various styles of guitar playing, as well as non-performance areas such as music composition and history. While at the University, he studied under accomplished musicians such as Bokyung Byun, Thomas Johnson, Joseph Klein, and many more.
Outside of the University, Mark has performed with and arranges for Dallas-based RnB/Hip-Hop/Funk brass band Opulence where he puts to use jazz and pop sensibilities to create lively tunes. He also performs and tours with local heavy metal band Godot.
Mark’s approach to teaching is firmly rooted in establishing strong fundamentals in order to approach all manners of guitar playing, from classical to electric, confidently. Using his variety of experiences and pools of knowledge, he hopes to assist students along their journey to appreciating all that music has to offer!

Daria Ionkina
Piano Teacher
Ms. Ionkina took part in a few music projects as a soloist at the Saint Petersburg Music House during 2018. One of these projects was “River of talents”, which gave her the opportunity to play with the State symphony orchestra named after V. Safonov. At the end of 2018, Ms. Ionkina participated in the Piano Marathon, which took place in the Mariinsky Concert Hall.
In 2016 Daria Ionkina graduated Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with professor Elena Richter and also Conservatorium van Amsterdam with professor Naum Grubert. From 2016 till 2018 Daria was a postgraduate student in Moscow State Conservatory.
During a few years Daria Ionkina took part in the international master-classes with such professors as Dmitri Bashkirov, Boris Petrushansky, Jean-Bernard Pommier, Asaf Zohar, Enrico Pace, Epifanio Comis, which took place in Russia, the Netherlands, Israel, Italy.
Ms. Ionkina is a laureate of many international competitions such as:

Evgeny Zakharov
Piano Teacher
Mr. Zakharov was born in a family of musicians and it determined the path he would take in life. Since his childhood he grew up with music on the stage. He studied at The Central music school at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in class of Andrey Zhavoronkov and graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory (Prof. Irina Plotnikova).
Evgeny performed a lot of solo recitals in Russia and orchestral concerts under the conductor Alexander Skudnov. In 2019 he took part in a “Russian piano talents” concert tour, that consisted of numerous concerts in various Italian cities. He also held a masterclass and recital with young artists in Jilin, China.
Evgeny has given recitals in a number of Russian cities and on famous Russian stages such as the Small Hall and Rachmaninov Hall of Moscow State Conservatory, and the Great Hall of Kazan Conservatory. In 2018 the pianist was invited to perform solo recitals in China (Jilin Institute Hall). He regularly appears as both an orchestral soloist and as a chamber music performer.

Nataliya Kartasheva
Piano Teacher
Ms. Kartasheva began to take piano lessons in early childhood. After musical school she studied at the Academic Musical College at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
It was during her college years that Ms Kartasheva started teaching, tallying her teaching experience at about 8 years by now. She graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 2020 through the piano faculty.
Nataliya is the winner of many international piano competitions and festivals, in addition to being the soloist of the First Moscow Students’ Philharmonia. Furthermore, she is engaged in frequent concert activity. Her recent achievements include:
