Mr. Hwang is a distinguished pianist and educator known for his exceptional talent and dedication to music. He graduated with top honors from both Busan Arts Middle School and Sunwha Arts High School, where he demonstrated a deep commitment to music from an early age. As a teenager, JuneYoung won over 20 piano competitions and received multiple scholarships from national and musical institutions in recognition of his extraordinary ability.

He earned his bachelor’s degree with honors from the Korea National University of Arts, where he was also recognized for his potential as an educator. As part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Dream Project, he had the opportunity to travel to India and Laos, where he gave masterclasses, lessons, and concerts, contributing his musical talents to communities in need.

JuneYoung’s passion for performance and cultural exploration has taken him across the globe. He has given solo recitals and concerts not only in Korea and the United States but also in Russia and several other countries. To further his studies, he pursued an Artist Diploma at Texas Christian University under the guidance of Dr. Tamas Ungar, receiving a full scholarship. He is currently completing his master’s degree at the University of North Texas, studying under Dr. Pamela Mia Paul. JuneYoung is also set to begin his doctoral studies in Fall 2025.

Among his many accomplishments, JuneYoung won a prize at the Rachmaninoff International Piano Competition in Moscow, Russia, where he was also awarded a scholarship. He made a successful Russian debut with a solo recital at the Scriabin Museum and performed a concerto with the Bryansk Governor Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, he was invited to the prestigious Piano Texas Academy and Festival, where he earned recognition from leading pianists in the field.

Beyond his musical achievements, JuneYoung is an avid traveler who enjoys exploring historic musical landmarks across Europe. This passion for cultural discovery deepens his appreciation for the rich musical traditions that continue to inspire and shape his artistry.
