• ANNA ASTASHKINA  

Growing up in a family of musicians, Anna Astashkina began taking piano lessons at the age of six. Anna studied music for four years at the Academic Music College under the Moscow State Conservatory. She is currently a student at the Moscow State Conservatory in the class of professor Strukov.

During her college years, Anna won numerous awards including Laureate of the IX International Competition of Musicians «Romanticism: Origins and Horizons» (2017) , Laureate of the 1st degree of the competition musicians-performers «Schubertiade» (2017, Moscow), Laureate of the IV Moscow Open Children  and Youth Festival «In the world of Shchedrin music. Golden Music Pages XX century» (2017, Moscow). In 2019 Anna won three competitions and was named Laureate of the sixth open festival of young musicians “Days of Sergei Rachmaninoff”. 

As a pianist, Ms. Astashkina enjoys performing as a soloist and collaborating with other musicians as an accompanist.

Anna has two years of teaching practice and worked on a methodical paper on the pedagogical principles of the famous Russian teacher Timakin. Anna believes that every student is unique and finds an individual approach to every class. Through her teaching, she aspires to inspire her students and share the love of music and knowledge with them.
